Temporary Halt to Japan’s Whaling Program Ordered by International Court

The International Court of Justice has ordered a temporary halt to Japan’s Antarctic whaling program. Australia had sued Japan at the UN’s highest court in hopes of ending the world’s biggest whale hunt in the icy Southern Ocean.
