Chinese President Xi Jinping is on his way to Brussels for the second round of talks on an European Union-China investment agreement. On Saturday, Xi ended his first state visit to Germany where he met with German President Joachim Gauck and Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss strengthening trade ties and China’s take on global affairs. About 150 Chinese business executives are also travelling with Xi. They signed several deals with German companies, in a sign of a thriving relationship between two of the world’s top exporters.
