China and France Boost Economic Ties

Chinese President Xi Jinping’s three-day visit in France will focus on economic ties between the two countries. The French economy has been struggling to improve and unemployment remains high. China could play a big role in its recovery. China is preparing to sign a $20 billion deal to buy 150 aircraft from French aerospace firm Airbus. Xi’s visit also marks 50 years of diplomatic relations between France and China. CCTV’S Olly Barratt reports from the Sino-French Economic Cooperation Zone in Chateauroux, France.
