Passengers aboard Flight 1702 were forced to evacuate through the emergency side doors after a nose gear collapse at Philadelphia International airport, according to an airport spokesperson. The aircraft was on its way to Fort Lauderdale, Florida when it aborted take-off. Philadelphia International Airport “is currently on a ground stop until further notice due to the US Airways collapsed nose gear incident” as stated on their account. They also said that passengers are safely evacuated. At the moment, 2 minor injuries have been reported.
