U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry visited the Shrine of the Fallen in Kiev on Tuesday, paying tribute to the protesters killed by police during the unrest. Over the course of the protests in Ukraine, almost 100 protesters were killed by police. Kerry arrived for talks with the new government amid tensions with Russia, which seized control of the strategic Crimean Peninsula over the weekend.
