The United States and France have pledged to seek a political solution to the crisis in Syria and they believe a comprehensive deal on Iran’s nuclear program is possible. The commitments came as President Francois Hollande continued his two-day state visit to the U.S. The two also seemed to bury the hatchet over the U.S. spying scandal revealed by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden.
